Baby change and parent rooms
Our brand-new parent room is located conveniently at the new Visitor Centre, within the amenities area. It includes a parent and child toilet, two feeding rooms, nappy change area, hot and cold drinking water, microwave for bottles/baby food and is heated, keeping your little ones warm and snug even when it’s cold outside.
Additional baby change facilities are located at The Outpost, Waterhole (giraffes), The Bomas (White Rhino) and Windana (lions) viewing platforms.
Food and drinks
The café at the new Visitor Centre is open daily and offers a range of tasty treats, small bites and hot meals.
The café is wheelchair accessible and offers highchair and seating facilities.
The Outpost pop up Café is open during peak times, for a small range of tasty treats, beverages and hot food.
Picnics: For those who prefer to bring their own meals, a grassy picnic area and sheltered tables and chairs are available near the café at the rear of the Visitor Centre. Please note due to fire risk, the park does not allow the use of BBQs.
Picnic tables are located at The Outpost, Waterhole (giraffe), Windana (lions) and throughout the park.
Playgrounds to let off steam
Play spaces are located adjacent to the cafés at the Visitor Centre and The Outpost. An additional play space is located at our White Rhino bus stop ‘The Bomas’.
For the first time ever, visitors will be able to access the café and play spaces without purchasing a ticket to the park. So why not meet up with friends coming from Murray Bridge, Strathalbyn, the Adelaide Hills or the city, and allow the littlies to let off steam.
